James A. Bruce
Originally purchased in Philadelphia near Temple University, these clay “family” scenes from the 1950s were purchased from the good folks at FolkArtisians.com. Matt knew they were for me and drove them over from the Chattanooga area to Memphis for me to see. Of course, I bought them all. The details and expressions of these figures are wonderful. In one scene, as the mom is concentrating on “Guiding Light”, the kids are in the background talking and goofing off. No other information on James Bruce is known. Please share info, if available, to complete this bio.
